Kino was marketing his first solo album, If this is love, I want a refund, which will be released on May 2.

Fans easily caught wind of his spontaneous promotion, taking to social media to express their amazement at his actions. They were emotional that he took it into his own hands to get his name out and they hoped that his self-marketing becomes a success.

Though some found the image of him sitting on the ground with a self-made sign pitiful, others were impressed by his creativity.

Besides promoting his music, Kino posted himself enjoying Coachella, an iconic California-based music festival that features artist from all around the globe. It was held from April 12–14 and April 19–21.
