The director of NewJeans‘ latest music video, “Bubble Gum”, recently revealed a KakaoTalk conversation they had with ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin just the day before HYBE Labels released the audit against Min that accused her of trying to overtake ADOR’s management.

The screenshot of the conversation has been shared on multiple social media sites and forums, and has quickly been gathering attention among Korean netizens and K-Pop fans. It comes after other employees on career website BLIND left poor reviews of the ADOR CEO, claiming she was a “crazy b*tch” and that they never wanted to work for her again.

It seems to be successfully changing the opinions of many people who were viewing Min Hee Jin’s recent behavior poorly, while providing more material for those supporting her already. In the chat, she speaks playfully with the “Bubble Gum” director, and even offers to bring them food (which she sends a picture of) while they’re working on the music video.

Min Hee Jin: Yeongeum.
MHJ: Hello.
MHJ: ㅋㅋㅋ
MHJ: When would it be possible to see the rough edits of “Bubble Gum”, by any chance?

Director: I’m working on it right now…!

MHJ: Thank you.
MHJ: ㅋㅋㅋ
MHJ: Should I send anything yummy to eat at the studio?
MHJ: Are you two employees together right now?
MHJ: Where’s the studio?

D: It’s okay!
D: You might regret sending the food after seeing my edits.
D: So just check out the outcome first…

MHJ: ㅋㅋㅋ
MHJ: Or I might actually ask you to eat more and gain strength to re-do the edits after seeing the outcome.
MHJ: You can do it.

The reactions to the conversation from Korean netizens have been, for the most part, pretty supportive towards Hee Jin, ranging from sympathy for the ADOR CEO to outright complimenting her.
