Moon Hee Jun apologized after being criticized by his own fans for lying and disrespecting his fans multiple times.
H.O.T‘s Moon Hee Jun debuted in 1996 but his popularity didn’t die down and had a steady number of loyal fans even to this day. However, this all changed when Moon Hee Jun’s fans collectively decided to boycott him and his activities for his continued disrespect.
Moon Hee Jun’s fans had enough and couldn’t turn a blind eye towards his actions ranging from his rude behavior, lying, and even evading taxes according to his fans.
The fans wrote a lengthy document detailing his poor behavior and posted it online to state their reasons for their new stance towards their idol.
Moon Hee Jun finally replied to the boycott movement started by his fans.
“Hello. I am Moon Hee Jun. I am not avoiding these issues so I am here to address all the issues surrounding my name as of late. I kept thinking to myself, what can I do to show my sincere, honest side when talking about the matter at hand.
First of all, I would like to apologize to everyone. I am heavily saddened for hurting my loyal fans who’ve supported me all this time.
I will now address the criticisms I am facing at the moment. If everyone felt that way about me then I acknowledge that I am in the wrong. The people who give me the most strength in life are my fans. They look over me and support me continuously; the only reason I’m here is because of my fans. If my fans weren’t here, I wouldn’t be here. I honestly believe that.
I have been promoting for the past 20 years now and I have always tried to make my fans pleased and happy. But before I am a celebrity, I am someone, I am a person who needs to improve on many things about himself. I have my faults and I have to fix those faults.
I am very sorry for not being with you guys whenever I can. If you guys, my fans give me time… I will be there for you guys. Just like you guys have been with me all these years…supporting me…helping me. I will be the one supporting you this time around.
I will work hard towards that goal. I sincerely want to treat you guys just like you have treated me with great support all these years.
