“Who Are You — School 2015” confirms cast list at script reading with Sungjae, Kim So Hyun, and more
Upcoming KBS 2TV drama Who Are You — School 2015 has revealed images from its first script reading session, confirming the cast list that was previously announced.
Starring BTOB‘s Yook Sungjae, Kim So Hyun, and Nam Joo Hyuk as the main leads, School 2015 is co-produced by FNC Entertainment. There has been much anticipation as to whether the upcoming series could meet the standards of the 2012 drama School 2013, starring Jang Na Ra, Lee Jong Suk, and Kim Woo Bin.
Producer Baek Sang Hun worked with scriptwriters Kim Hyun Jung and Kim Min Jung for this drama. Approximately 40 casts and staff were present at the script reading, including Kim So Hyun (plays Lee Eun Bi), Nam Joo Hyuk (plays Han Yi An), and Sungjae (plays Kong Tae Gwang).
Joining the main casts as Year 2 Class 3 classmates are Kim Hee Jung, Lee Cho Hee, David Lee, and more. Other casts include Hello Venus‘ Yoo Young, Park Doo Sik, Jo Soo Hyang, and Kim Bo Ra. The average age of the actors and actresses are relatively young, especially for the main three who are at most 22 years old.
Producer Baek Sang Hun expressed, “I hope that everyone has fun while working. I hope that everyone can feel happy, enjoyable, and free while filming.”
A Twitter update by the lead actress Kim So Hyun also showed that the casts have already started filming for the drama in Busan, Korea.
Who Are You — School 2015 is expected to air on April 27th at 10PM KST, taking of the Blood time slot, and will air weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays.
