[★TRENDING] SM Entertainment rejects compositions by Girls’ Generation members
At Girls’ Generation’s recent showcase on July 7th, Seohyun revealed that SM Entertainment rejected compositions by the girl group members.
At the showcase, Seohyun was asked about taking part in the album’s creation. She shared, “I made many requests to participate because I wanted to, but I was denied. That is how lacking we are. I diligently gathered a lot of songs. They are only in the computer, but other members also wrote lyrics and composed. However, the company won’t allow the use of our songs yet.”
Meanwhile, the girl group has already received much love and support for their comeback with “Party,” such as scoring an all-kill across music charts and garnering over 1 million views in under six hours. Girls’ Generation will be hitting the stage starting with KBS 2TV’s Music Bank on July 10th, MBC’s Music Core on July 11th, and SBS’s Inkigayo on July 12th.
