Joon Park discloses arm injury prior to g.o.d’s concert last year
As 2014 came to an end, Joon Park (Park Joon Hyung) released more details behind his injury during g.o.d’s concert promotions through his recent post on Instagram.
On January 2nd, Joon Park posted a photo of his broken arm, along with a shot of his X-Ray image and him in a cast, catching the attention of his fans. However, he has revealed that he has sustained the injury last year and explained that, “Since we said bye to 2014, I could tell u guys some behind the scene stuff from 2014! & YES! Im OK NOW!”
He went on to disclose that, “This happened 5/16/2014 on the date of my teaser video shoot right before my last shot in which I was to ride a vert ramp~ I was going about 35km/hr on a slight downhill w/a motorcycle following & filming me~ My board slid out from under me & so I wouldn’t slam my face 2 the ground I put my right arm down but w/ that kinda speed & from being tired filming all day couldn’t support my weight~So I hyperextended my arm tore tendons & ligaments OUCH~”
He shared insight on his upcoming promotions with the group as the message continued to, “1st thing that popped into my mind was our concert, & disappointing my bros & fans~ The doc said if nothing serious I would be outta cast in 3-4wks & need 3-6 months recupe time and if serious I would need alignment surgery etc & would take 8-12 months~ Well I iced it everyday, took the cast off on the 5th day and straightened lil by lil each day so when healed I would have full mobility~.”
To close the story, Joon Park revealed that by the time the concert came , he wasn’t fully healed but was able to manage the dance moves. He ended the update that he has learned the lesson of not overdoing things prior to something big and continue to learn from the bad experiences as a memory one can share and laugh about.
Back in July, g.o.d treated fans for a reunion concert god 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert in Seoul, South Korea before heading to their national tour.
