BTS’s RM Reveals What Was Difficult About Sharing A Dorm With Multiple People During His Trainee Days
BTS dealt with many tough things during their trainee days, one of which was their dorm situation. During BTS’s trainee days, they trained alongside many more trainees, and all these trainees had to live in the same dorm. In an episode of tvN‘s You Quiz On The Block, RM shared that there was a time when 9 trainees lived in the same dorm.
RM also shared that overall around 30 trainees came and left that dorm.
Back then, the company (Big Hit Music) provided a dorm for potential members of BTS.
In the end, 7 trainees were remaining, and they went on to become BTS!
When talking about the old dorm situation, RM shared that the trainees shared everything, such as clothes and the one computer in the dorm.
Another difficult thing they dealt with was that they only had one bathroom in the dorm.
With so many people living in the same place, the bathroom in the dorm was always busy, and trainees often had to use a different place’s bathroom, such as a nearby store’s bathroom.
Looking back, RM believes that the old dorm situation was 50% good and 50% bad.
