Comedian Jung Joon Ha Confesses He Almost Quit “Infinite Challenge” Because Of Park Myung Soo
Jung Joon Ha‘s recent confession is making headlines due to its relation to the mega-hit variety program, Infinite Challenge and a cast mate of the show, Park Myung Soo.
Jung Joon Ha recently made an appearance on Park Myung Soo’s YouTube channel Hal Myung Soo, and during their time together, they discussed past memories that they both shared on their former variety program. While the two comedians currently share a close friendship, their tense relationship from the past was brought up by the producer of the YouTube show.
To this, the two comedians agreed by letting out the biggest sighs. Jung Joon Ha elaborated more on their past relationship.
Park Myung Soo and Jung Joon Ha shared the biggest reasons behind the rocky beginnings to their relationship, citing a difference in personalities and humor as the factors.
Park Myung Soo: “Joon Ha didn’t understand (the humor) in the beginning.”
Jung Joon Ha: “I didn’t get him.”
Jung Joon Ha shared the specific humor and jokes that would rub him the wrong way in the beginning of their relationship. The nicknames that Park Myung Soo gave Jung Joon Ha were all in relation to Jung Joon Ha’s “big head.”
Hey helmet, you cocky, you hobo were some things he would call me.
— Jung Joon Ha
During his explanation, Jung Joon Ha reiterated that while now, those types of jokes are more commonly seen in the industry, they were unheard of back when Infinite Challenge first began.
Nowadays, those wouldn’t be considered harsh. Back in the day, however, nobody joked around like that using those terms.

It was after his explanation that Jung Joon Ha confessed that he wanted to leave Infinite Challenge because of Park Myung Soo.
I was only going to appear on the show for 4 weeks. After the first recording, I said ‘Jae Suk-ah (Yoo Jae Suk) I really can’t do this. I’ll just do it once and then (I’ll leave.)’

The comedian continued on with his story by revealing that it was Yoo Jae Suk who convinced him to stay on the show and that thanks to his advice, he eventually got used to Park Myung Soo’s humor.
Jae Suk held my hand and said, ‘hyung, can’t you just trust me and hold on for a little longer?’ And then I did it (Infinite Challenge) for about 4 weeks and that’s when I got used to it (Park Myung Soo’s humor.)’

The comedian concluded the story about the two’s turbulent past by sharing that it was through it all that their friendship came to fruition.
After that, it wasn’t long before we all became family. Really.
