1. MAMAMOO running into Moonbyul’s high school bully
On NAVER NOW, MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul spoke about what her members did when they ran into her high school bully on the streets.
When Moonbyul was in high school, she started pursuing her dreams of becoming a singer, but she got bullied.
When I was in my third year of high school, I went around auditioning because I wanted to become a singer. But I was bullied for it.

What made this even more heartbreaking was that the bullies used to be Moonbyul’s “friends.”
It was really hard. We used to be close. But they started cussing me out.

Moonbyul went on to prove these bullies wrong, and she revealed that she and her fellow members once ran into one of the bullies. The members knew about what this bully did, so they just glared at her!
We ran into one of the bullies while I was working. She pretended not to know me. She was living a tough life. And my fellow members knew the story, so they all glared at her. I felt like I could depend on them. I thought, ‘These are my friends.’

2. Kim Sejeong getting revenge on a hater
Sejeong dreamed of becoming a celebrity since she was young, and one of her after-school academy teachers doubted her talents.
When I was young, I used to go to an after-school academy that taught all subjects. But I consulted with a teacher about switching to a vocal academy. She told me, ‘Sejeong, do you really think you can really become a celebrity? You can’t, Sejeong.’

This teacher constantly told Sejeong that her dreams were “unrealistic.”
She said, ‘You have to study. You can’t become a celebrity just by [switching to a vocal academy].’

3. Jeon Somi running into her childhood bully
In an episode of MBC‘s Radio Star, Somi spoke about when she ran into her childhood bully.
Somi revealed that she was bullied in elementary school.

She also shared that she transferred to a new school when she was in grade 3, and just a day after she transferred, there was a school election for class president. Somi’s friends told her that they would vote for her if she ran, and Somi entered without even knowing what a class president was! To her surprise, she got the highest number of votes and became the class president. However, because of this, Somi got bullied until she was in grade 6.
Since I was the class president and the outcast, I think I was the closest to my teacher.

Somi later debuted, and she happened to meet her childhood bully on the streets one day. This bully asked her for a picture, and Somi felt refreshed inside when this happened.
