INFINITE’s Sunggyu Tests Positive For COVID-19
INFINITE’s Sunggyu has confirmed positive for COVID-19. According to his agency Double H TNE, “Kim Sunggyu was informed that he was positive for COVID-19 on the morning of June 27.”

Hello, this is Kim Sunggyu’s agency Double H TNE. On the morning of June 27, we were notified that our artist Kim Sunggyu was tested positive for COVID-19.
Sunggyu was regularly tested for COVID0-19 every week to prepare for the musical Gwanghwamun Sonata. He also received the Janssen vaccine on June 10 but still tested positive today.
Kim Sunggyu was asymptomatic and had no abnormalities in his condition. All relevant staff and employees that have had schedules overlap or had contact with Kim Sunggyu immediately proceeded to COVID-19 testing.
Kim Sunggyu will suspend all activities and follow the guidelines of the quarantine authorities. Staff members who have been in close contact with Kim Sunggyu will self-quarantine regardless of the results.
