BLACKPINK‘s Rosé was one of the first guests on the new JTBC show Sea Of Hope. The show features several idol hosts performing music and preparing homemade dishes for guests at their seaside bar. In the first episode, Rosé treated fans to a spectacular version of the John Mayer song “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room.”
Fans were blown away by the fantastic cover showcasing not only Rosé’s stunning vocals but her ability to transport listeners to a new world with her performance. Yet, it seems like BLINKs aren’t the only ones gushing over her performance.
After the video was released, none other than the artist himself, John Mayer, reacted to the cover. After watching the video, the singer took to Instagram and posted a picture of Rosé’s performance on his story with the caption, “This is gorgeous.“
Alongside retweeting the video with the same comment, fans noticed that John Mayer also liked the video on Twitter. It may not seem like much, but it seems like John Mayer hasn’t liked a tweet since 2018. It must be a big thing that he went out of his way to show his love for the cover.
It seems as if Rosé saw the love shown by the singer and reacted to John Mayer reacting to her video. On her Instagram, Rosé reposted the story, adding the caption, “Whaat…? No way… Pinch me.”
