ATEEZ’s Yeosang Names NCT’s Taeyong As His Role Model — And This Isn’t The First Time
ATEEZ‘s Yeosang recently said his role model is NCT‘s Taeyong, and it isn’t the first time he’s talked about his admiration for him!
During a recent video call fansign event, an ATINY tried asking Yeosang if he has any thoughts about becoming a model. However, Yeosang misheard and thought she was asking about his role model!
ATINY: Have you ever wanted to do modeling?
Yeosang: Model?
ATINY: Yeah, model, like poses and stuff!
Yeosang: Oh, model! My model is — K-Pop artist? I like Taeyong! […] I like his dance […] so I like him.
all I asked was if he wanted to try modeling and this mf starts talking about taeyong from nct??? and then was like K BYE 🤣

Yeosang previously named Taeyong as one of his role models back in 2018 during a livestream!
Personally, a senior artist I respect is BTS’s V and also NCT’s Taeyong. For Taeyong, [I admire] his dance lines and angles and he dances all types of dance so well so I think I have a lot to learn from him as well.

His admiration isn’t one-sided, however; Taeyong himself has said he listens to ATEEZ before, too!
During a collaboration video with YouTuber GoToe, Taeyong, Taeil, Jungwoo, and Haechan had to guess K-Pop songs through seeing silhouetted choreography. When ATEEZ’s “Treasure” came up, they didn’t get the answer, but Taeyong said he likes their music!
Taeyong: I really like their [ATEEZ] songs.
GoToe: Like “Say My Name…”
Taeyong: That’s right. Choreo is so nice.
ATINY and NCTzens are loving this wholesome moment! Hopefully, the two incredibly talented and visually stunning idols are able to work together closely in the future.
