Even (G)I-DLE Minnie’s Mom Is Supporting BLACKPINK Lisa’s Solo Debut
As two of K-Pop’s favorite Thai idols, BLACKPINK‘s Lisa and (G)I-DLE‘s Minnie have been best friends for years now. So, it’s no surprise Minnie has been showering Lisa with love for her solo debut, “LALISA.” That said, what is a surprise is that even Minnie’s mom is supporting Lisa’s solo!
From giving each other gifts to going on lunch dates, Minnie and Lisa are always showing off their close friendship with each other. A few months ago, Minnie even opened up about how Lisa gave her strength as a trainee when she was about to debut, telling Minnie, “Just do your best, and every outcome will be good.”
With such a close bond behind them, who could be surprised that Minnie has been promoting Lisa’s solo at every opportunity she gets. A day before the album’s release, Minnie shared LISA’s “D-Day” poster to her Instagram story. Then, after the track dropped, she shared one of Jisoo‘s stunning photos of Lisa on set.
Now, it seems that being a Lisa fan runs in the family too. Today, Minnie uploaded a new Instagram story of herself and her mother in the car captioned, “How to say LALISALALISALALISA 😂.”
In the clip, Minnie and her mom both did their best to recite Lisa’s “Lalisa Lalisa Lalisa Lalisa Lalisa” line from the end of “LALISA,” and Minnie’s mom was nothing short of enthusiastic for her daughter’s fellow Thai star. And even though no one can do the line justice quite like Lisa can, BLINKs and Neverlands can all agree that Minnie and her mom had it down pretty well after a few attempts.
Minnie told her mom to do it quick (reo, reo) and got it! (dai laew) at the end. Such a supportive friend and her mom is so cute for playing along. 🐭 pic.twitter.com/kf60YtKjqi
