BLACKPINK’s Rosé Served Two Completely Different Looks At The Met Gala, And Slayed Them Both
Along with CL, BLACKPINK‘s Rosé became one of the first female K-Pop idols to attend the annual Met Gala. It is a huge deal for the two artists, as the guest list is always exclusive and features only the top designers, models, and celebrities.
Rosé was invited as the global brand ambassador of Saint Laurent, and as expected, completely stunned the world in her outfits throughout the day.
The point of this year’s event celebrated American fashion, and all of the celebrities had their own interpretation. Rosé sported a minimalistic black and white dress with a chunky yet sophisticated black and silver diamond flower choker during the event.
When looking at the outfit, many believe that it was a nod to the fashion from the early 1900s. In particular, fans online seemed to think it resembled the style shown in the 1960s with its simple designs and statement jewelry.

Yet, it isn’t the first time Rosé has been seen wearing this style. For many, YSL is known for consistency and, in the September issue of ELLE Korea, Rosé wore a similar style. Many also noticed that it is the same outfit worn by Zendaya in the October Vogue cover.
Yet, if Rosé was the queen of sophistication during the day, she changed up her look later that day for the all-important after-party! As expected, the BLACKPINK member showed that she can instantly change looks and vibes.
After a fairly formal look, Rosé channeled an outfit that was more laid back but also oozed style. In the past, fans have loved seeing the idol channel her inner rock goddess, and this outfit seemed to do just that.
Rosé paired a plain black vest top with a matching blazer and shorts combination with the same statement necklace. She also teamed it with a killer pair of black pointed heels which seemed to radiate a combination of a rock chick, badass businesswoman, and a lot more.
As expected, Rosé shone throughout the night, and it is no surprise that she was trending worldwide on social media after her appearance! You can read more about it below.
