BTS’s Jungkook Breaks Stereotypes By Letting His Tattoos And Piercings Shine At The UN General Assembly
BTS‘s attendance at the 76th United Nations General Assembly has made history for many reasons, from their touching speech to their optimistic performance. One detail in particular has ARMYs feeling especially proud: Jungkook‘s tattoos and piercings are out there for everyone to see!
Fans have been obsessed with Jungkook’s incredibly detailed tattoo sleeve ever since we first got a glimpse at the full thing. It includes a tiger, which relates to Korean culture, and “ARMY” and his members’ initials written across his knuckles.
Not only is Jungkook only 24 years old and speaking for the United Nations, but he’s done it all without attempting to hide who he is!

Unfortunately, there’s a prevalent stereotype that in order to be professional or taken seriously, one must have the minimal amount of body modifications, if any. It’s common for people to cover up their tattoos with makeup or clothing and take out any jewelry. However, Jungkook has let his tattoos and piercings shine throughout the entire trip to New York!
Can we talk about how jungkook has visible tattoos on his hand and an eyebrow piercing and Hobi has pink hair at the UN conference. As someone who was told that having tattoos, piercings, dyed hair is unprofessional growing up, its just really cool to see this.
