Here’s Why BTS’s Dancing Skills Proved They Were Always Destined For Success, According To Professional Dancers
When it comes to K-Pop idols who are excellent dancers, BTS is always in the picture. Since the moment they debuted, all of the members have gained attention for their distinct style of dance, from J-Hope‘s more hip hop style or Jimin‘s contemporary training.
Yet, it seems as if all of the members had shown true potential, even before they debuted as BTS! YouTube channel AYO recently released a video with two dancers who shared their experiences on Street Woman Fighter, idols, and much more.
In particular, the two spoke about BTS after one of the questions pointed out that at one point, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, and Suga were backup dancers for the collaboration between GLAM and vocaloid voice lender SeeU.
Both Sara and Lee Bomin worked with the members during this time, and then on several occasions, they debuted. Lee Bomin explained that she had also worked with J-Hope when he collaborated on fellow idol Jo Kwon‘s “Animal.”
She explained how surprised she was after seeing how far J-Hope had come and all of his skills across the various fields.
I was so surprised because he was so skillful. Not to mention his rapping and dancing style. He has a lot of talent.
— Lee Bomin
When it comes to J-Hope, there is no denying that he is such a strong dancer, and many fans and idols haven’t had enough praise for his dedication to dance and passion whenever he is on stage.
Lee Bomin then focused on maknae Jungkook, explaining that the idol had actually gone to America before debuting and how much it impacted his dancing skills. The caption after even joked that Jungkook’s “genius” status at dancing was evident when he was young.
Jungkook went to America to learn dancing, and he significantly improved. I knew that he was going to succeed.
— Lee Bomin
Although Jungkook is not seen as one of the main dancers of the group, like the other members, he is always flawless on stage. With his charisma, passion, and talent, he grabs the attention of crowds with his stage presence and ability to tell a story through his body.
As expected, BTS has worked hard to get to where they are, but there is no denying that they had star quality even before debuting. You can watch the whole video below.
