BTS’ “I Need U” makes its way into Tower Records and Oricon’s daily rankings
After taking a successful comeback in South Korea, BTS (Bulletproof Boy Scouts) also created a splash with their fifth single, I NEED U, in Japan.
According to rankings released by Oricon charts on December 8th, BTS’ I NEED U (Japanese Version) managed to sell more than 43,000 copies in the country, taking first place on Oricon’s daily rankings.
The same results were published by Tower Records, also one of the major music chains in the Japan, as the group topped general sales since its release.
The response is a perfect reflection with BTS’ comeback in South Korea having overtaken PSY on iTunes worldwide rankings and selling more than 90,000 copies of their latest album, In the Mood For Love Pt. 2, since its release.
