ITZY Playing Rock-Paper-Scissors In The Middle Of A Performance Is The Cutest Example Of Their Talent
When the ITZY members played Rock-Paper-Scissors in the middle of a performance this week without missing a beat, they proved they’re truly a force to be reckoned with when it comes to dance skills.
With one of the best dance lines in K-Pop, ITZY is always wowing fans with complex and high-octane choreography. Unless you’re a professional dancer yourself, you can probably agree that dances like “LOCO” look pretty difficult to keep up with.
But for ITZY, dancing to “LOCO” comes so naturally that they were able to play Rock-Paper-Scissors on stage without missing a single step. The group’s performance on Inkigayo this week started out like any other at first…
… but when it came to Yeji and Ryujin‘s lines before the pre-chorus, the pair decided to add something new to the choreography.
As they crossed to opposite sides of the stage, lead dancer Ryujin and main dancer Yeji suddenly broke into a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors!
Yeji quickly played Scissors, but Ryujin beat her with a solid Rock fist.
Not only did it all happen in the blink of an eye, celebrating Ryujin and pouting Yeji got back to their places so quickly that many fans didn’t even notice their game until the group’s full fancam was released.
And, just like that, the members continued on with the choreography as though nothing out of the ordinary had happened.
After a flawless “LOCO” performance, the group went on to win a well-deserved 1st place Inkigayo trophy at the end of the show.
If the ITZY members being able to break their flow and seamlessly return in the middle of dancing doesn’t prove that they’re born performers, we don’t know what will.
