In a new interview with Bustle, the members shared their thoughts on why they get along so well, how they’ve achieved their trainee dreams, how their songwriting skills have improved, and more.
During their interview, the members were asked, “What were your thoughts when you heard ‘The Feels’ for the first time?” Jihyo answered that she loved the song when she first heard it and that it “took us back to when we started” because it sounded similar to some of their previous work.
Sana and Nayeon fully agreed with Jihyo, and they revealed that they thought “The Feels” sounded like a mix between two of TWICE’s earliest songs.
They said, “We think ‘The Feels’ is a mixture between ‘Like OOH-AHH’ and ‘Cheer Up.’ When we first showed the teaser of the song online, our fans said that it reminded them of ‘Like OOH-AHH.’
Considering that “Like OOH-AHH” was their debut song, and “Cheer Up” was the song they performed for their first comeback, we’re sure the TWICE members loved that “The Feels” reminded them of those special times in their careers!
