“Extracurricular” Park Ju Hyun And “Nevertheless” Chae Jong Hyeop Confirmed As Leads For Upcoming Sports Romance K-Drama
Extracurricular actress Park Ju Hyun and Nevertheless actor Chae Jong Hyeop have been confirmed as the leads in KBS’s upcoming sports romance K-Drama Speeding To You At 493km.
In a press release shared by the Speeding To You At 493km production team, they shared that the K-Drama will be of the sports romance genre, based in badminton. It will depict a romance that can be itchy like the shuttlecock’s feathers and as strong as a shuttlecock hit at a speed of 493 km/hr.
Park Ju Hyun will play the role of Park Tae Yang, a badminton athlete who has a strong smash and was expected to be a candidate for the Olympic team, but she suddenly quits badminton entirely due to a mysterious incident. After joining a company, she visited a badminton club for the first time in three years, which suddenly reignited her passion for badminton.
Chae Jong Hyeop will play the role of Park Tae Joon, an athlete who simply considers badminton his job. He dreamed of a comfortable life after retiring and entered the same company as Park Tae Yang after being fired from his previous company. His mindset and narrative will gradually begin to change after meeting Park Tae Yang.
