Former IZ*ONE’s Ahn Yujin Gets Introduced As First Member Of IVE In New Official Photos
Starship Entertainment recently excited fans when they announced their plans for their upcoming 6-member girl group, IVE. With the ongoing excitement surrounding IVE’s upcoming debut, various rumors began to circulate online regarding the members of the group—and one member was just recently confirmed.
Just hours ago, Ahn Yujin was officially introduced as the first member of the highly anticipated girl group with newly released profile photos on IVE’s official Twitter account.

The first photo shows off the full visual effects of the 18-year-old in a moody black and white photo. Keeping the aesthetics simple, Ahn Yujin captivates the camera’s focus with her neutral, but stunning facial expression.
The second photo uploaded by IVE’s official social media account gives fans a sneak peek of what may be the girl group’s aesthetic. Ahn Yujin is photographed wearing a cropped tank layered over a mesh long sleeve shirt. That paired with the leather shorts give off a total girl crush, badass vibe—which we are all for.
Ahn Yujin was one of the most highly anticipated members of IVE’s potential lineup due to her former IZ*ONE fame. The talented 2003-er competed in Produce 48 alongside 95 other female trainees for a chance to win a spot in the final girl group lineup. After a grueling month and a half later, she ranked fifth overall—which led to her official debut with IZ*ONE back in 2018.
Prior to her IZ*ONE debut, however, Ahn Yujin had her fair share of fame due to her various appearances in different endorsements—including a very famous contact lens commercial for Acuvue Vita.
The talented 18-year-old is on her way to becoming South Korea’s next biggest “it” star and we can’t wait to see what more she has to offer with her upcoming IVE debut.
