Park Yoochun’s Younger Brother Park Yoohwan Indicted For Smoking Marijuana

On November 3, it was reported by numerous media sources that actor Park Yoohwan was being investigated by the police for smoking marijuana.

According to the Gyeonggi Nambu Police Department, the actor was booked without detention on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. He is being accused of smoking marijuana with two other people at a restaurant in Thailand in December 2020.

At the time, it was reported that Park Yoohwan was in Thailand to make a special appearance at his brother, Park Yoochun‘s concert. According to reports, Park Yoohwan and the two others, who were also Korean, smoked marijuana while in Thailand for the concert. It’s been further reported that all three of them have fully admitted to the charges.

Park Yoohwan made his acting debut back in 2011 on the MBC television K-Drama, Twinkle Twinkle. Ever since, he has been busy promoting as an actor with his different productions, such as A Thousand Day’s Promise, Gye Baek, In Need of Romance 3, She Was Pretty, and more.

The actor is also famously known for being former JYJ member, Park Yoochun’s younger brother. Park Yoochun was also previously charged with drug-related offenses back in 2019. He was sentenced to 10 months in prison and 2 years of probation at the time.
