MONSTA X’s Minhyuk Gets Visibly Upset With Sasaeng’s Phone Calls During A Live Broadcast
On November 3rd, MONSTA X‘s Minhyuk held a live broadcast where he celebrated his birthday with fans.
However, it didn’t take long for a sasaeng, also known as a malicious fan, to start calling Minhyuk. Immediately, he expressed his dissatisfaction, saying this type of fan “is not a real Monbebe.”
As Minhyuk look visibly displeased, fans also felt the atmosphere of the stream go down. His typically high energy seemed to drop.
During live streams, idols may receive calls from sasaengs in order for them to make sure they have the idol’s correct number. The disrespectful invasion of privacy can be extremely stressful.

Minhyuk handled the unfortunate situation with class and many netizens commended him for keeping his cool and not swearing during the stressful situation.
In the end, Minhyuk continued his stream and had a successful birthday celebration with Monbebe! His dissatisfaction with sasaeng behavior will hopefully help to decrease this problematic behavior among “fans.”
