8 Male K-Pop Idols Who Are Totally Ready To Be Dads
Variety shows such as The Return of Superman and Oh My Baby have given us plenty of moments between K-Pop idols and children to gush over, revealing certain idols’ particular love for kids. Other idols have demonstrated how much they love kids in other ways, such as by discussing it on live streams or on their YouTube series.
Here are eight male K-Pop idols who are known to absolutely love kids and who are clearly ready to be dads!
1. EXO’s Kai
Perhaps the most prominent example, Kai has given us plenty of glimpses into just how much he loves kids. He has appeared not only on both The Return of Superman and Oh My Baby, but also on the reality show I Live Alone (also known as Home Alone), in which he was seen spending the day happily playing with his niece and nephew, whom he often features in his social media.
2. NCT’s Taeyong
In a recent episode of the NCT Youtube series, Johnny’s Communication Center, Taeyong claimed that he wants to have three kids. According to him, he loved spending time with his nephew so much that in ten years he sees himself having three kids!
3. PENTAGON’s Yuto
In an episode of Weekly Idol, Yuto explained that he had also spent a lot of time with his young nephew lately, and that he’d really enjoyed it. When it was his turn to do the Aegyo challenge, Yuto rolled back his sleeves and jokingly said as if to his nephew, “This is how I make money.” The hosts and the members couldn’t contain their laughter.
4. SHINee’s Minho
There is more than one compilation of Minho with kids online, and that’s because the videos are delightful. He clearly is not only very comfortable with children, but actively enjoys spending time with them too. It’s a lovely side of him!
5. THE BOYZ’s Sangyeon
The leader of THE BOYZ has made no secret of his love for kids. He discussed it on live streams with his fans and he also recorded a wholesome video log of his holiday, which he spent adorably playing with his little nephew.
6. BIGBANG’s G-Dragon
Another idol who went on Return of Superman more than once, G-Dragon has many memorable moments with kids. His compilations may not be as extensive as Minho’s (let alone Kai’s), but they’re certainly sweet and endearing!
7. MONSTA X’s Shownu
Shownu got to demonstrate just how good he is with kids on an episode of the group’s reality show, MONSTA X-Ray, in which the members were assigned to work as teachers in a daycare center. Needless to say, the content in this episode was endearingly wholesome, including all the members! In fact, fellow members Jooheon and Minhyuk also went on The Return of Superman this year and had a lot of fun.
8. Wanna One’s Kang Daniel
Kang Daniel was on The Return of Superman along with two of his other members, and the results were precious. Not only did he have fun, but he shared a special sweet moment with one of the kids!
