2021 brought us some of V and Jungkook‘s best friendship moments yet! From heartwarming to hilarious, here, in no particular order, are 10 of the best “Taekook” moments this year.
1. Playing with Bam together
On In the SOOP 2, Jungkook entertained V and his dog Bam by dancing outside their patio door.
2. When Jungkook redefined “keyboard smash”
In Episode 133 of Run BTS!, V reached over and closed Jungkook’s browser to sabotage him during a typing game.
Jungkook, who was already struggling to type with a gigantic keyboard, used his space bar to “delete” V!
3. ATVs
On In the SOOP 2, Jungkook and V went adventuring on an ATV…
…and had the time of their lives together!
4. I’ll save you!
On Run BTS!, warrior V was willing to sacrifice himself for Painter Jungkook. Jungkook managed to evade capture from the “royal army,” thanks to V.
V also volunteered to take on a solo mission (with penalty). “I will do it. So, go and run away!” V urged Jungkook. “Run away, now! Hurry up now, run away. Trust me. Run away.”
5. Karaoke party
On In the SOOP 2, Jungkook and V sang “Timeless” by SG Wannabe together.
We need a subunit ASAP, HYBE!
6. Cook for me, please!
When V decided to make naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodle soup), he enlisted Jungkook to cook pork belly for him. Why? V didn’t know how to fry it himself.
Jungkook turned V down, but V used his secret weapon to get his way: cuteness!
It worked!
How did V thank his kitchen-savvy bestie? With a thank you hug.
7. What “allergy?”
On Run BTS!, V suddenly claimed to have a bean allergy. “I’m allergic to beans,” he declared.
Jungkook shut this nonsense down immediately. “What? You are not allergic to beans,” he said. “You are just picky.”
8. Making each other laugh
They just couldn’t keep it together during “Permission to Dance” at SoFi Stadium.
9. Roller skating
When it comes to roller skating, V is a newborn giraffe; he has a little trouble getting around! Luckily, Jungkook was there to teach him how to skate…
…and protect him from this fall!
