BTS Respectfully Declines A Photographer’s Request At The 2021 Jingle Ball
BTS‘s members brought their world-famous talents and impeccable manners to iHeartRadio‘s 2021 Jingle Ball!
On December 3rd, BTS performed a holiday remix of their Grammy-nominated single “Dynamite” at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Fans are praising BTS’s spectacular stage, but also a memorable moment from the red carpet.
In the midst of flashing cameras, one photographer made a request. She asked BTS, “Guys, can we get a jump?” Immediately, another photographer said what some fans were thinking, “What? Are you kidding?”
“They did it at the Grammys,” the first photographer replied. She was referring to this iconic moment from 2019 Grammy Awards.
As some ARMYs have pointed out on Twitter, the Jingle Ball was not the Grammy Awards, and 2019 is a far cry from 2021. Much has changed in the past two years for BTS.
That jump like 2 years ago?? 2yrs ago BTS. They don't need to jump for ne1 if they don't want. I'm here for this new chaptr of Bangtan being cool & confident & not feeling they have to do what industry wants. 🙂Like ma'am this not a circus & it's a radio show not the Grammy's.🤣

How did BTS react? With poise and grace. Jungkook responded to the request with a headshake and a wave, on behalf of his members.
In other words, thanks but no thanks!
I personally think that the reporter shouldn't have asked @BTS_twt to jump, it was disrespectful. But I also think that the guys handled it perfectly, by just being confident and strait-forward, yet respectful😎 https://t.co/UlSb3ybxq7
