Rainbow set to return with new album this February
Fans of girl group Rainbow have been eagerly awaiting news of their comeback ever since their comeback last year with Innocent.
The DSP Media girl group made a comeback with a minimalist sound in “Black Swan,” also ending their year and eight month hiatus at the time. Unfortunately, Rainbow’s promotions did not last long, leaving fans wanting more. Now after 11 months since the release of their last mini-album, news of their comeback has reached the news.
According to Herald Pop, a music insider revealed on January 16th that Rainbow is currently in preparation in making a comeback next month, making them their agency’s first artists to lead the way for 2016.
Rainbow is now DSP Media’s longest-running girl group currently active under them as four-member group KARA disbanded following the expiration contract of Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon, and Goo Hara as the trio decided to part ways.
According to the agency, Rainbow is currently in the middle of selecting their songs and that the girl group is indeed preparing for a comeback in February.
Rainbow debuted in November 2009 with “Gossip Girl” and has hits such as “A” and “Mach” under their belt.
