Here’s The Fitness Regimen That Made BTS’s Jimin A Better Dancer
BTS‘s Jimin is a naturally talented dancer, but he credits a popular fitness regimen with making him an even better dancer.
Jimin has been wowing people with his dance skills for years, both before he debuted as an idol with BTS and after.
He’s known for his impressive body control, incredible stage presence, and ability to tell a story through his dance.
Clearly, Jimin has mastered his craft. Still, he thinks he has gotten better at dancing recently thanks to CrossFit.
In an interview with GQ, Jimin was asked if CrossFit had changed his dancing in any way. He had previously mentioned that he tried the trendy fitness regimen in the “ARMY Corner Store” video from this year’s FESTA, BTS’s anniversary celebration.
CrossFit is a high-intensity interval training fitness program. CrossFit focuses on functional movements (like squats, push-ups, pull-ups, and weight lifting) that help people build stamina and strength. CrossFit gyms do WODs (workouts of the day) to allow fitness enthusiasts to learn a variety of ways to boost their fitness levels, avoid boredom, and work all their muscles.
Jimin’s intense CrossFit workouts paid off! He told the interviewer that he actually feels stronger now. He said, “I actually feel stronger. It’s also brought greater stability to my dancing. Perhaps it’s because of my increased core strength, but I’ve noticed that I have better balance now.”
Jimin was pulling off mind-blowing stunts and dance moves long before he tried CrossFit, so we know he’ll wow us all with his improved balance and core strength!
