I started acting 28 years ago with a supporting role in a SBS K-Drama. So it feels unreal to be receiving such an honorable award from the same channel. I don’t even know if I deserve this win, I’m sorry. I’m so baffled right now.
I want to thank The Penthouse director who really inspired me with his passion on set. And… I also want to thank the scriptwriter Kim Soon Ok. You’re such a lovely person. I would not be here without you, so thank you so much. And I would like to extend a big thanks to the cast and staff of The Penthouse, too…
And to my family watching at home, I know I told you not to expect anything. I know you must be as shocked as I am. Just know that I love you all. Also, when I stressed over The Penthouse, my husband has been there for me through the whole thing. Thank you for being the healthiest, most positive support system I could ask for. Thank you so much and I love you.
I will continue to work hard and become a more genuine actress who knows to treasure each and every scene I’m in. Thank you.
