On Netflix‘s Single’s Inferno, Song Ji A found her perfect match, but there were plenty of twists and turns along the way.
In the finale, Kim Hyeon Joong, Choi Si Hun, and newcomer Cha Hyun Seung all chose Ji A as their ideal partner, but only one won her heart.
Ji A’s choice, Kim Hyeon Joong, didn’t shock most viewers, but the same can’t be said for Shin Ji Yeon‘s pick. Since Episode 1, Moon Se Hoon made it clear that Shin Ji Yeon was the only woman for him, but she didn’t seem to feel the same way.
Even so, Se Hoon doggedly pursued Ji Yeon, and he asked her to accompany him to the Paradise resort one last time. Here, Se Hoon opened up about his feelings, and in the end…
…Ji Yeon chose to leave the island with him as a couple.
In a new Q&A video, Ji A shared her parents’ love story, a love story that in many ways mirrors that of Se Hoon and Ji Yeon.
“[My mom and dad] know someone in common,” Ji A explained. “My dad saw my mom with them and kept nagging them to formally introduce her to him for a month. But my mom wasn’t too interested in him.”
“She kept saying no, but he was so persistent,” Ji A went on. “As soon as my dad met her, he asked her to marry him! My mom thought that was weird. Marriage when they had just met? But my dad didn’t know how to give up. So, my mom ended up marrying him. On top of that, my dad’s younger. Isn’t that cool?”
