Stray Kids Drops A Trailer For “2 Kids Room” And It’s A Must Watch
Stray Kids‘ official YouTube channel recently dropped a trailer for a new series the group filmed, “2 Kids Room.” The YouTube series will start to air on January 24th, 2022. This means that excited fans will only have to wait less than a week.
The trailer is very short, showing each of the members individually, talking while seated in front of a plain backdrop. But since Stray Kids have filmed multiple series like this before, it is easy to guess the concept.
In the past, Stray Kids has shown fans their personalities in unscripted conversations between members.
“Kids Room” was almost like a dating-style game in which each member took a turn sitting in a room by themselves and asking two alternating members questions.
The two members answering tried to give them an answer they would want to hear (or, in some entertaining cases, to give a bad answer purposely) so they wouldn’t get eliminated and would keep playing. The member that remained at the end was the member’s “soulmate.”
Not only was this series entertaining, but it gave some unique insight into the members’ personalities.
For example, in the third episode, Changbin asked a question about “something you can’t stand,” and answered it himself. Sharing that he doesn’t like his sleep being disturbed or having to repeat himself.
To answer the question, Han shared that he particularly doesn’t like when “people criticize things for the sake of criticizing.”
While I.N shared that he doesn’t like “when things don’t go as planned.”
Another similar series they filmed was “One Kid’s Room,” in which a member sat by themselves, talking to the camera. All the other members were seated together, listening and chiming in with their own personal stories and thoughts.
For instance, in episode 7, Hyunjin discussed how he often gets immersed in stories, letting himself feel overwhelming emotion.
Lee Know then chimed in to the rest of the group, sharing that Hyunjin had cried while watching dramas. And Bang Chan agreed, adding that Hyunjin had hilarious reactions while watching the K-Drama Sky Castle.
And Stray Kids also showcased their group dynamics in “Two Kids Room” and “Two Kids Room+1,” in which two or three members, respectively, sat together, ate snacks, and talked about whatever was on their minds.
This could be as lighthearted as Seungmin telling I.N in volume 2, episode 1 of “Two Kids Room” that he has seen compilation clips on video sites about “Seungmin teasing I.N.”
Or it could be as sincere as in episode 5 of “Two Kids Room+1,” when Changbin asked Bang Chan what about Lee Know made Bang Chan willing to hand over some of his leadership roles when it came to dancing.
Bang Chan admitted that he doesn’t “like to be in control of everything just because [he’s] the leader.” And continued to explain that he views Stray Kids as a family, with each person having responsibilities to take on to help the family function.
And with the introduction of this new series, “2 Kids Room,” it looks like Stays will probably get to see a similar variety of conversations with the members throughout the 28 planned episodes.
From I.N being forced to admit something is cute.
To Felix talking about his dream disappearing.
And Lee Know teasing that he shouldn’t tell share something.
“2 Kids Room” will undoubtedly show new sides of the members and will definitely be a must-watch for Stays.
