ENHYPEN’s Heeseung Was Willing To Risk It All For A Fan During A Fansign, And Jungwon Did Everything To Help
In the world of K-Pop, idols love nothing more than to meet their fans in real life and interact with them. With such busy schedules, fansigns are the perfect way to meet those fans who have supported them along their journey.
However, with COVID-19 still present worldwide, things have had to change, with fans being required to wear masks and acrylic screens being placed in front of them to stop any spread of particles that could cause the infection to spread.
Yet, even though it is a necessary measure, it can get frustrating for both idols and fans when all they want is to communicate properly. ENHYPEN has been doing fansigns with fans to celebrate their latest comeback and had one on January 16.
Recently, a video went viral when a lucky netizen went to a fansign with ENHYPEN, particularly member Heeseung.
User @enhshs1015 shared some amazing images from a fansign event. But it was one clip that caught the attention of netizens worldwide and even went viral on TikTok. During the clip, an ENGENE must have also felt restricted by the acrylic screen in front of her and asked Heeseung if he could move it.
Without even thinking, Heeseung wanted to make the fan happy and started trying to pull the screen out from the stands so that he could be closer to them.
When he realized that it might be too difficult for one person, ENHYPEN’s leader Jungwon also tried to help assist Heeseung in taking the screen out of the slots. It showcases just how much love the members have for their fans that they were willing to do anything to make them happy.
Unfortunately, the staff quickly noticed what was happening and immediately stopped Heeseung and Jungwon. Being the respectful idol he is, Heeseung quickly apologized to the staff member as they returned the screen back to its normal place so that the event could carry on.
As soon as the video was shared on social media, netizens worldwide had nothing but praise for the members and how much they were willing to do to make the fan happy.
Many also found it hilarious how despite knowing it might be breaking the rules, Jungwon tried to help Heeseung and kept a straight face while helping him remove the screen.
Yet, it isn’t the first time Heeseung has been praised for knowing exactly what ENGENE’s want. In August 2021, Heeseung knew what the fans wanted when he posted a picture of himself wearing glasses with the caption, “Because I think you like the glasses.”
Member Sunghoon also proved how much they love their fans and want to please them by posting a similar picture but wearing a handband, captioning it with, “Because I think you like the headband.”
Hopefully, when things have improved in the world, ENHYPEN and other K-Pop groups will be able to have fansigns without any restrictions and go back to some sort of normal.
