Here’s What YG Entertainment Artists’ Upcoming Schedules Look Like, According To The Idols Themselves
Recently the YouTube channel “The Game Caterers” gathered YG Entertainment artists to film videos while playing games and interacting with each other.
The list of artists included Sechskies‘ Jiwon, AKMU‘s Chanhyuk, WINNER‘s Jinu (also known as Jinwoo) and Mino, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie, iKON‘s Jay and Song, and TREASURE‘s Hyunsuk and Jihoon. Featuring a brief appearance from WINNER’s Yoon (also known as Seungyoon).
The first two videos, released last week, were filled with laughter over things like TREASURE’s shocking living situation, the male artists’ reactions to Jennie’s appearance, and Jennie and WINNER’s endearing friendship.
The second set of videos from the series, recently released, included more games that showed off all the artists’ humor and dancing in some entertaining quizzes.
But, fans of the artists were most excited by the final few moments of the last episode as each of the artists got a chance to share a few words, and most of them took the opportunity to promote upcoming schedules for their groups.
AKMU’s Chanhyuk took the opportunity to propose a show idea to the producer of “Game Caterers,” jokingly announcing that he was already working on a travel show with the producer.
But despite the laughter, the producer shared that it would be his honor to work with Chanhyuk. So hopefully, fans will be able to look forward to more humorous content from the idol in this possible upcoming content.
TREASURE’s Hyunsuk promoted TREASURE’s upcoming concert, their first since their debut.
The other artists told him he sounded like a concert staff in his expert promotion since he even shared the ticket prices and where fans could buy them.
Jihoon then promoted their recent comeback, “JIKJIN,” with the hopes that people who enjoyed the show would go listen.
And he also added that he is an mc on SBS‘s Inkigayo, and he hopes fans will support him there too.
The rest of the other artists almost all then mentioned upcoming comebacks that fans can anticipate eagerly.
WINNER’s Mino started the promotion by sharing that “WINNER is preparing for a comeback.” And he asks fans to “please look forward to it.”
Jinu then took on his responsibility as the eldest member and promoted Yoon, who briefly appeared for some special rounds in the episodes, who will soon be “releasing an album as a solo artist.”
iKON’s Jay confirmed that iKON will also be having a comeback, releasing “an album in the top half of this year” that fans can look forward to.
Since Jay promoted their upcoming album, Song took the opportunity to promote his YouTube channel “SONGCHELIN GUIDE.”
He suggested that “if you enjoyed watching this today,” you would like his channel, so you should check it out as well.
And, of course, BLACKPINK’s Jennie had the announcement that fans have been waiting over a year for… “BLACKPINK is also making a comeback soon.”
Jennie wasn’t sure if it was information she could reveal, but since she was “the only one here,” she decided to say it anyway, confirming fans’ hopes.
The announcement isn’t entirely unexpected, with soloist Somi having accidentally spoiled a second of Jennie’s voice in an unreleased song, but this is the official confirmation that fans have been waiting for.
In contrast to the rest of the active artists, Sechskies‘ Jiwon shared his gratitude to the “Game Caterers” for giving him his first opportunity to “hang out with the junior singers.”
