Hyunjin himself even chose between having long hair and short hair in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan. Shocking fans by saying that he actually prefers short hair.

And now I.N has shared his personal favorite of Hyunjin’s hairstyles in the most recent Stray Kids’ “2 Kids Room” episode.
Hyunjin starts the conversation with I.N by introducing him as “the biggest fan of [Hyunjin’s] long hair.”
And since Hyunjin had recently shared that he wanted to cut his hair short…
He’s curious about I.N’s thoughts on what styles he should try.
And I.N shares that while he does like short hair…
“It’s not time yet” for Hyunjin to have short dark hair.
And Hyunjin interjects that he “[wants] to do something special.”
So I.N suggests that Hyunjin try short blonde hair as a sort of compromise.
And while I.N does admit that Hyunjin suits short dark hair very well…
He clarifies that he doesn’t “think anything can beat blonde hair” when it comes to Hyunjin’s iconic looks.
So, of course, Hyunjin has to ask I.N what it is about his blonde hair that I.N likes so much.
To which I.N is quick to answer that he likes Hyunjin’s effortless style with blonde hair because he doesn’t think it’s “easy to look good with blonde hair.”
Using himself as an example to say that he didn’t suit blonde hair well, like when his hair was a darker blonde for “Side Effects.”
To which both Hyunjin and fans disagree, firmly believing that I.N pulled off the blonde hair well.

But fortunately, with a bit of encouragement from Hyunjin, I.N shared that he, at the time, “now [wants] to dye [his hair] blonde.”
And, sure enough, he did end up dyeing his hair, and fans can’t get enough.
