BTS’s Suga Gets Real About His True Outlook On Life
BTS‘s Suga might be known as one of the true all-rounders in K-Pop, with his rapping, producing, dancing, and visuals. Yet, aside from this, Suga is also extremely wise when it comes to his outlook on life.
Since debuting in 2013, Suga has always received praise for his words of advice to ARMYs, no matter what the situation might be, including his wise words at the PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LAS VEGAS shows…
So I think if there’s something that we got out of the pandemic, it’s that the moment you try to control things that are out of your control, that’s when things get tough.
— Suga
Or finding ways to comfort both his members and ARMYs, like when he gave a smart piece of advice to V, Suga is always a source of inspiration.
There is no need to dwell on the mistakes made in the past. It’s okay to just do you.
— Suga
Well, it seems like 2022 is just the same and Suga continues to share his knowledge and words of wisdom with ARMYs.
In a recent video, the members all sat down separately and answered questions on everything from their names, life mottos, and digging deep into the newest songs from their album PROOF.
When asked whether the members have a motto, Suga quickly responded, “I don’t have a motto.” Although it isn’t uncommon to not have one, it was the reasoning behind Suga’s answer that showcased his wisdom.
For Suga, the idea of a motto is something very simplistic and the way that life constantly changes means that no one phrase could suit every occasion.
The values that I pursue in life keep changing and holding onto only one thing feels very narrow-minded, so I don’t keep a motto these days.
— Suga
Another question seemed quite simple as the members were asked, “What movie do you wish your life was like?” Of course, there are many options like a superhero, romance, or thriller. Suga revealed that when he was younger, he always wanted to live in a superhero movie.
Yet, as he’s grown up, Suga revealed how much his outlook has changed. Although he wouldn’t mind being in a movie, his perspective has moved away from being the star.
But now I don’t want to be the main character, something more like… supporting role 3…
— Suga
For many, Suga is one of the calmest idols in K-Pop (except when he’s on stage), and it seems like a life without drama is something that Suga wants to maintain as he grows up, and even if he manages to be in a film.
That’s the kind of life I pursue. I don’t want to be the protagonist at all.
— Suga
As always, Suga proves that even though he’s only in his late 20s, his wisdom and knowledge are beyond his years. Even though his life as an idol might seem worlds away from normal netizens, the lessons and words Suga shares can be applied to everyone’s life.
