How The Lollapalooza Crowd Reacted When TXT Said They Might Not Know Their Songs
TXT have now become the first K-Pop act ever to grace the stage of Lollapalooza, one of the biggest music festivals in the US! Though the artists just wrapped up the US leg of their ACT: Lovesick tour, the audience can’t seem to get enough of them.
Right from the beginning of TXT’s setlist, the energy in the crowd was very high. But the group was especially taken aback by the audience’s reaction when Hueingkai said, “Our songs are probably new to many of you guys, right?” and the crowd roared back in unison, “No!”

To this Taehyun asked, completely amused, “No? You guys already know?” The smile that immediately popped up on the members’ faces was proof enough of how much this reaction meant to them!
The people in the crowd did not exaggerate their response whatsoever. During the entire setlist of the group, they sang along bar for bar with deafening cheers!
I started breaking down crying during Anti-Romantic. That’s the moment I realised that 99% of the crowd at Lollapalooza are moas with 1M+ watching on Weverse alone apart of Hulu. That’s the moment I realised as to how far TXT have come…https://t.co/meXkfEtFf5

A few days before their performance, TXT were doing a live stream where Taehyun expressed his worry that the audience at Lollapalooza might be unfamiliar with them. He asked MOAs to cheer for them since he was anxious about the crowd response.
🐿: guys please come please come to see us what if we go to (loollapalooza) and no one knows us what if our stage is filled with entire silence 😰😰🙏🏻@TXT_members

But after today’s performance, it is pretty clear that TXT are not only known faces, but also in demand in the U.S. Fans are hoping that the group gets even bigger opportunities and showcase their full potential as artists in the future.
