Girl Group LABOUM Will Reportedly Disband At The End Of August
Girl group LABOUM will reportedly disband at the end of August.
According to an exclusive report from Star News, LABOUM will be disbanding at the end of August or early September. The reason is due to the acquisition of LABOUM’s agency, Interpark Music Plus, by Yanolja, a popular software company most well-known for its travel and hospitality based application of the same name. Yanolja reportedly has no intentions of continuing to operate and manage LABOUM as a girl group.
LABOUM originally debuted as a six-member girl group in 2014. Yulhee left the group in 2017 and Yujeong left in 2021. In March 2021, their track “Journey to Atlantis” was a prominent track in Hangout With Yoo, leading to the group’s resurgence.
Interpark Music Plus has not yet commented on the report.
