An Actor Who Had A Small Role On Netflix’s “Narco-Saints” Is Under Police Investigation, And Is Suspected Of Sexually Assaulting A Theatre Staff Member
An actor in his 50s who is said to have had a small role on Netflix‘s Narco-Saints is reported to be under investigation for sexually assaulting a staff member in her 20s.
According to Channel A‘s report released on September 28, the assault took place after a get-together.
The report alleges that the actor assaulted a theatre employee who is in her 20s. The actor is said to be originally a theatre actor who acted at the Sejong Cultural Center’s theatre for close to twenty years.
The actor is said to have sexually assaulted the victim in April after an outing between the theatre’s actors and employees. After the assault allegedly occurred, the victim reported the incident to the theatre and filed a police report against the actor. The police investigated the actor and sent the case to prosecutors for further investigation. The actor is said to have received discipline from the theatre in July of this year.
According to a statement provided to Channel A, the actor insists he is innocent and denied the charges.
