ATEEZ’s San’s Matching Tattoo With Wooyoung Has Finally Been Revealed

Last year, ATEEZ‘s Wooyoung revealed a tattoo on his thigh that had the group’s fandom overwhelmed with emotions.

The tattoo was of the words “Amicus ad aras”, a phrase that he and bestie and fellow member San often say as a testament to their unending friendship.

The Latin phrase translates to “friends until death” or “a friend until the end”, and it’s one that he has long shared with San as evidence of just how close and important their relationship with each other is.

San later shared that he had gotten a matching tattoo on his thigh to make them true friendship tattoos, though since he is rarely seen in clothing that reveals that part of his leg, ATINYs just had to take his word for it for quite a while.

Thanks to the latest episode of their ongoing variety show WANTEEZ, however, fans have finally had a glimpse of the sweet ink!

In the episode, San is wearing a pair of jeans that have large holes ripped at the knees. When the group poses for a certain photograph, the jeans adjust in just the right way to give a peek of the tattoo!

What’s even more adorable is that, while the holes in San’s jeans weren’t as ripped earlier in the episode, there is a moment later on where it almost appears that Wooyoung ripped away the threads so the tattoo could be more visibly seen.

Even though fans had no doubt that they did both get the friendship tattoo, we’re still feeling weak seeing it for the first time.
