Who Took A Blow In The Face First? Boxing Legend Manny Pacquiao Spars With Kim Jong Kook In “Running Man”
Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao guested in Running Man to participate in several game challenges, one of which was the much-awaited sparring challenge, to show off his legendary boxing skills. Manny sparred with two teams’ members, taking on two members per team.
Manny and the challengers wore safety pads on their bodies to avoid hurting each other. For every physical contact of the boxing glove on their opponents, a colored impression of the punch would be left on their white shirts and faces.
Singer Kim Jong Kook was one of Pacquiao’s challengers and prepared well for this moment. He made sure he would be physically fit for this challenge.
While Manny was sparring with comedian Haha, Jong Kook was already observing Manny’s moves to prepare himself for his turn.
Jong Kook entered the ring confidently, eager for the sparring to start.
Jong Kook showed off his quick footwork and fast reflexes in evading Manny’s hits.
Yoo Jae Suk was hungry for Manny’s punches and joked about Manny to start punching Jong Kook.
As Manny remained cautious with his moves, Jong Kook got to hit Manny’s face first.
Fancy footwork ensued as Jong Kook and Manny tried to figure out their next moves against each other.
Manny finally corners Jong Kook!
In a split second, Manny jabbed lightly and hit Jong Kook in his mouth. The only sign of Jong Kook being hit was the pink impression Manny’s punch left in his mouth.
Everyone was happy with Manny’s successful punch. It’s hilarious how they were so pleased that Jong Kook could not dodge Manny’s quick jab.
Jong Kook’s team won at the end of the match. It was fantastic that Manny looked relaxed after sparring with two challengers simultaneously, then took on two other challengers, one after another.
