(G)I-DLE‘s Soyeon is constantly proving herself an icon through her innovative and creative song production ability, impressive all-rounder talents, fierce stage presence, and adorable personality off-stage.
Recently Soyeon sat down to read fans’ comments on her viral “MY BAG” fancam. Whenever Soyeon was on stage performing the hit song, fans couldn’t look away from her powerful charisma.
And even when Soyeon wasn’t actively performing, the fancam captured her adorable mannerisms that fans loved just as much.
Before watching her fancam, Soyeon admits that she typically doesn’t watch her fancams because “It’s embarrassing.”

Although she does admit that this popular “MY BAG” fancam, which has over a million views, is her “favorite fancam.”
And while Soyeon was certainly channeling her genius stage presence while performing, the idol admits that how she acted when standing at the side of the stage was totally genuine. In fact, the idol didn’t even realize she was getting a fancam.

Which she reiterates when a fan expresses their admiration for her duality on and off stage.
I really didn’t know I was getting recorded. If you check the beginning of the fancam, I ask my hair stylist whether I should put my hair on the front or back. The fancam even captured that. I really didn’t know I was getting filmed.

Although the moments of Soyeon off-stage are so adorable that it feels like it was almost intentional, Soyeon explains that fans can know when she’s being candid and genuine because otherwise, she “would’ve tried to look cool.”
