TXT’s Soobin Is A Successful Fan After Receiving Bebe Rexha’s Phone Number
It’s been an emotional few days for MOAs as TXT proudly walked their first American award show red carpet at the 2022 American Music Awards (AMAs) on November 20. For TXT’s Soobin, it’s also been an emotional roller coaster as he hoped his ultimate fanboy dreams would come true with his longtime idol, American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha.
While his dreams went differently than he had hoped on the night of the AMAs, a recent development may have exceeded his expectations.
TXT’s leader Soobin has been very vocal about his admiration for Bebe Rexha, frequently naming her as his favorite artist.

The two have not officially met in person, though they did virtually meet through an Instagram live in April 2020. During the live, Bebe Rexha and TXT expressed their interest in collaborating together, exciting fans.
Shortly after, Bebe took to Twitter to explain that communication between her company and BIGHIT MUSIC wasn’t easy, seemingly explaining why they hadn’t collaborated as of yet.
With TXT attending the 2022 AMAs where Bebe Rexha was a performer, Soobin hoped they would be able to run into the American star.
TXT stole the hearts of fans and the media on the award ceremony’s red carpet. At an event with so many talented artists, the question of what fellow artists TXT hoped to meet naturally arose.
The TXT members immediately knew their answer, naming legendary American artist Stevie Wonder, American pop-rock band Imagine Dragons, American artists Charlie Puth, and, of course, Bebe Rexha.
Soobin’s adorable reaction to an interviewer reminding him that Bebe Rexha was also at the ceremony caught the attention of the American singer.
Although they didn’t get to meet at the AMAs, Soobin left Bebe Rexha a heartfelt message on Twitter, praising her performance and adorably asking for a “meet and greet” the next time they cross paths.

His sweet message received a response from Bebe Rexha, who quickly tried to set up a meeting with Soobin while he was in LA.

MOAs rushed to the comments, frantically tagging TXT to alert them of the exciting news, with fans telling Soobin to “wake up” and others hilariously calling on TXT’s manager Jisoo to pass along the message.
By the time Soobin received the message, the group was heartbreakingly already back on the plane, putting an end to the exciting hope that he could finally meet his idol.
Disappointed, Soobin even asked if he should get off the plane in his reply to Bebe, drawing tears onto his photo.
Bebe Rexha mirrored his disappointment in her reply, adding crying emojis before delivering a hopeful message to Soobin.
The TXT leader became the ultimate successful fan when Bebe Rexha gave him her phone number so they could meet in the future.
The situation started on a sad note but ended up making one of Soobin’s dreams come true!
Hopefully, now that they have direct communication, they’ll be able to finally collaborate.
