Two BTS Songs Topped Google Searches Worldwide This Year For Being Extremely Catchy
BTS are often highly searched topics after almost anything they do, a testament to their popularity worldwide. While the group easily trends on Twitter, they often appear in Google‘s top searches as well.
From having the year “2025” trending after their conscription announcement earlier this year…
…to being the number one Google search after their first AMAs performance in 2017, BTS are always a hot topic.
This year, two of BTS’s songs topped Google’s “hum to search” feature searches across the entire world!
Google’s “hum to search” feature is a way for users to find songs that they do not know the title of but can recall how the song sounded. This feature is beneficial for those who can remember a song’s catchy chorus or melody but do not have any idea who sang the song.
BTS’s “Butter” and “Dynamite” were included in the top ten songs most searched using the “hum to search” method, alongside popular songs “Pasoori” by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” by Backstreet Boys, and “Enemy” and “Believer” by Imagine Dragons.
“Butter” and “Dynamite” took the second and seventh places, respectively.
Many of the songs on this list topped charts worldwide and were heavily featured in commercials or movies. Both of BTS’s songs in the list were included in commercials for Samsung products, meaning people watched these ads and liked the song so much they had to know who sang it!
These 2022 search results are just another demonstration of BTS’s power!
