The Women Of “Single’s Inferno 2” And Their Celebrity Crushes Vs. The Men They Chose

Netflix‘s hit Korean reality dating show Single’s Inferno 2 has concluded, and a few couples successfully escaped the deserted island “Inferno.”

Some of the pairings might have surprised viewers (and even contestants), but ultimately everyone stayed true to their hearts and did what was best for them (as they should).

Shin Seul Ki, who three men in the end chose, shocked a few people by choosing the loyal Choi Jong Woo over “bad boy” Kim Jin Young. She confessed that Jong Woo might not have been what she initially thought was her type, but he “broke the standards that she had set for herself.”

In Episode 1, the women briefly described what they were looking for in a man. Yet, it was hard to distinguish who they might be interested in based on that and the few men on the island.

So, in an unreleased scene, the women talk about their ideal types. Choi Seo Eun suggested they give their celebrity crushes as examples too.

So, let’s take a look at the women’s celebrity crushes (those who had one) and who they chose at the end in Inferno…

1. Lee Nadine and Park Se Jeong

Nadine chose actor Choi Woo Shik, and Kim Se Jeong agreed. He is introverted and shy but can also be very cute and playful.

Neither of these women was successful in leaving Inferno with a man. The reason was that they were interested in the same one, and he also happened to like another woman.

Kim Jin Young and Choi Woo Shik certainly have different aesthetics. Jin Young appears to be a “bad boy” with his tattoos and whatnot, and Woo Shik radiates soft vibes. Yet, their personalities are similar in some ways. Both are quiet and surprisingly funny in endearing ways. Nadine even described Jin Young as “cute.”

2. Shin Seul Ki

Seul Ki’s celebrity crush was actor Lee Je Hoon. She said it was because she likes “men who look kind.” 

Originally, Seul Ki showed interest in Shin Dong Woo, who certainly fits the vibe of Lee Je Hoon. He was older and looking to take care of her.

However, everything changed after their date in Paradise and Jin Young’s arrival. Like the other girls, the new guy intrigued her…

But she ultimately chose Choi Jong Woo, who was loyal to her since the start. One thing is for certain he is a man that radiates kindness and earnestness, so it was only fitting she would choose him.

3. Choi Seo Eun

Choi Seo Eun chose 2PM‘s Junho. She clarified that it was not really in terms of personality but by appearance. She likes his “big body shape” and that he does not have double eyelids.

Jo Yoong Jae and Choi Seo Eun were drawn to each other almost from the start, and they ultimately left together as a couple (although they low-key had been ever since their first Paradise date). He certainly fits the description of her ideal type!

The other girls didn’t reveal their celebrity crushes but based on those who did, everyone’s chosen man was a close match!
