Even though BLACKPINK has millions of fans worldwide, the group recently gained attention after French President Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Macron cemented their BLINK status.
BLACKPINK attended Le Gala des Piéces Jaunes, a charity event organized by the First Lady of France, Brigitte Macron. Even before the show, the members of BLACKPINK met up with Brigitte and took photos with her.
They also seem to have a close bond with President Emmanuel Macron after their photo with Pharell went viral, as it was actually taken by France’s leader.
Well, it seems as if both President Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, truly showcased their admiration for the group throughout the event.

In clips shared by fans attending the show, it was clear that both President Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron are huge BLINKs.
One video that has gone viral shows the BLACKPINK members at the end of their stage. Of course, the crowds were going crazy as the members took their final bow and headed off stage.
Yet, the reason it caught the attention of fans both on Twitter and TikTok was when the camera panned to President Macron. Many believed his reaction looked like a proud father as he was seen praising the members to those around him.
The comments under the video couldn’t get over their reactions, loving the fact that it basically cements that he’s in his BLINK era.
If that wasn’t enough, when all the members came back onstage at the end and were joined by Brigitte, the First Lady went straight to the members after their final bow to chat with them.
