Another third-generation group returned to music recently after leaving their career in South Korea and returning to China.

In 2012, the Tasty Twins (also known as TASTY) made their debut under Woollim Entertainment. The duo was made up of identical twins Daeryong and Soryong and made a splash with their first album, Spectrum.

The duo had quite a bit of experience before their debut, as they were trainees under JYP Entertainment from 2006-2011, even appearing as backup dancers for J.Y. Park. The duo left the label to join Woollim after deciding they had waited long enough to debut.

The pair were active under Woollim from 2012 to 2015 and were even able to release a Chinese album, Addiction, after the company merged with SM Entertainment‘s subsidiary SM C&C. TASTY also appeared at several SM Town Family concerts, as well as opening for Girls’ Generation‘s Girls & Peach World Tour.

In July 2015, however, the duo announced on their Weibo account that they would be moving back to China and ceasing all promotions in Korea. This led to a back and forth between Woollim, who claimed they were unaware of the twins’ choice. Though the twins lost the subsequent lawsuit to terminate their contracts, the group did not return to Korea and began releasing music as DLXL.

The duo seemed to stop after a few releases and changing their name to the Hanch Twins, sporadically sharing music through the years. In 2022, the duo returned to social media with a new music video track, Ice Cream Twins, decisively different from their previous releases as TASTY.

The lyrics to this song are not too scandalous, but subsequent releases posted on their YouTube channel are much more NSFW.

She got that cake, I got that candle. We light it up, we going viral. F*ck a plate, I eat it raw. Got her crawling to the window to the wall. […]That p*ssy got knock out, hits heavy.

Small t*ts fat *ss yeah she a boper. Just wanna f*ck her, I ain’t tryna be her lover. Put the gloves on, it’s time to beat it up. Hungry than a motherf*cker, first let me eat it up.

— “You Can’t Fuck With My Drip” by Hanch Twins

The twins’ latest song was released in November 2022, and based on their schedule of previous releases, they may be releasing another soon! They’re also active on Instagram and Weibo, where they have shown excitement for what’s to come in 2023.
