Steve Aoki has often been vocal about K-Pop artists’ talent, admiring their work ethic and connection to their fans. Like when he showered BTS with praise for their immense skills.

Most recently, Steve Aoki and (G)I-DLE did a collaboration remix of the girl group’s recent hit “NXDE.”

“NXDE” made waves in the K-Pop world as (G)I-DLE used the song to break down “stereotypes” and to promote the acceptance of your authentic self.

Like our previous albums, this one is to beat the stereotypes.

In a recent interview with Distractify, Steve Aoki shared that he “loved” the song when (G)I-DLE first reached out about a possible collaboration.

They hit me up to do a remix of “NXDE.” I heard it and I loved it.

The talented DJ added that he is “happy to support them,” given their impressive messages and way of using their art to “culture a lot of people.”
