BTS’s RM Was The Best Sunbae To TXT’s Soobin When He Needed Some Advice

TXT‘s Soobin has always been known for his close relationship with BTS‘s RM. He often picked RM as his role model and previously mentioned how lovely RM was to him.

My life’s role model is RM sunbaenim. When I had some worries just before debut, RM sunbaenim told me that if I ever had anything I wanted to know, just leader-to-leader, I could come to find him any time. I remember that, and when I met him, and he was really cool and warm. I thought that if I had someone like that by my side, I would feel really secure.

In a more recent episode, when the boys guested on Park Myung Soo‘s radio show on February 3, 2023, Soobin mentioned his sunbae once more. Park Myung Soo mentioned that Soobin once visited RM’s house to seek advice. Upon being prompted, Soobin confirmed that RM’s home was huge!  He also received the best advice.

There was a time last year when I was in doubt about myself as a singer for a moment. I sought advice from him and hyung told me lots of good [helpful] things. We talked while just eating some humble chicken together but that time spent was so great. After I went to his house, I thought that I should really be a hardworker.
