Netizens Discuss Why IVE's Jang Wonyoung Was Destined For Success Right From The Start

Whether you’re a fan of IVE or not, if you listen to K-Pop at all, you’ve probably become familiar with Jang Wonyoung. She’s definitely one of the most talked about female idols of the current generation, and while she gets an unfair amount of hate for the most ridiculous reasons, there are many more people that love and appreciate her.

Of course, her K-Pop journey started all the way back in June 2018 when she first appeared on the survival show Produce 48 at just 13 years old. Despite her young age, she ended up placing first on the show, which earned her a well-deserved place in IZ*ONE.

Recently, a post was made on an online forum sharing old photos of Wonyoung back during her Produce 48 days to give “proof” why she was destined to be succcessful from the very start of her career!

The post itself is titled “Jang Wonyoung was seriously set for success”, and the first photo is the one seen below. It’s a journalist’s photo of Wonyoung during her time on the survival show, and even then, her visuals and charisma were evident.

Here are a couple more photos shared on the post, also taken by journalists during Wonyoung’s Produce 48 days. They seem to showcase the “star factor” she had even back then.

This photo was also included in the post, showing that even though Wonyoung hadn’t had much time to get used to being in front of cameras yet by this point, she seemed entirely at ease and a natural at it.

Korean netizens shared their own opinions on Wonyoung’s fate to become successful even when she was just 13, with several of them agreeing with the author’s beliefs on the matter.
