Spoiler Alert
Netflix‘s Physical: 100 is captivating audiences from all over the world because of the engrossing challenges and charming contestants. The show gathered one hundred athletic people at the top physical condition. But did you know that out of all the contestants, only one thus far has won first in all challenges?
He is no other than ice climber and mountain rescuer Kim Min Cheol! Given his profession, it’s no wonder he is at the top of the game in terms of strength and endurance.
First, Kim Min Cheol came out on top in the pre-quest game, the “Hanging Challenge.” Contestants had to hold on to steel bars for as long as possible, and he won against everybody with a record time of 18 minutes and 15 seconds.
For the one-vs-one challenge, the mountain rescuer ultimately overpowered national team diver Kim Ji Wook in an intense fight for the ball.
The next quest was a team challenge, and he joined the team of legendary MMA fighter Choo Sung Hoon (also known by his Japanese name Yoshihiro Akiyama).
Together, they went on to win the “Moving Sand” challenge against Team Tarzan with flying colors.
But that’s not all! He was also in the winning team for the ship challenge with a finishing record of 13 minutes and 34 seconds.
And of course, the course that was practically made for him—climbing. He didn’t even break into a sweat as he comfortably hung onto the rope.
After beating his three opponents, he became one of the top 5 of the competition. He even said in a later interview that he could have lasted another hour on the rope. Knowing his insane endurance and strength, he definitely wasn’t joking!
